While we were away on our summer mototrip, Helena spent ten weeks with my stepdad and his cat companion Monchichi. It’s the longest Helena has ever been apart from us and it’s been quite amusing to discover the new habits she picked up over the summer. My favorite of these new behaviors is the “dead bug,” which she undoubtedly learned from Monchichi.

Now my question is: where did Monchichi learn it? Both her and Helena are rescue cats so their early lives are unknown to us. Did Monchichi learn it from another cat or did she come into it on her own? And what did Helena teach her during their summer together?
